Price listed is for pick up only and does not include freight or post. See freight section below for details.

This mid school classic flatland freestyle Mongoose Hooligan BMX has been stripped down, painted, cleaned, greased, serviced and completely rebuilt. This bike is now ready to hit the street again with a new owner.

All steel and chrome parts have had rust removed. The bike is almost completely original, with a few parts added where needed.

The frame, forks, handlebars, wheels, cranks, chainring and pedals, seat, seat post, seat post clamp, grips, stem, pegs and rear Diacompe AD990 brake are all original to the bike.

The front and brake, brake levers, black freestyle gumwall tyres, spokes, chain and brake cables are all brand new. The wheels have been re-built with new spokes and spin well considering their age, of course they're not absolutely perfect. The rear does have a slight hop.

The bike has been finished off with a fresh new set of Mongoose Hooligan decals.

Many of the original parts show signs of age and wear with small scratches and marks see photos. There are no bends, cracks or dents anywhere across the bike. The seat post, cranks and pegs do have pitting in the chrome (see photos). The original Mongoose stamped pedals show wear and scratches. The head stem has a couple of scratches. A few of the small parts, bolts etc will have a small amount of rust on them. See photos. The paint is not perfect. There were a few deep scratches on the previous paint which can still be seen underneath the new white paint. There is brake rub on the sides of the rims. The grips are in used condition with worn plugs. The rubber on one grip is a little stretched.

The bike has 20" wheels and an average size top tube length. It is perfect for kids aged 8 to adult. The seat post can be raised for taller, older riders.

The bike is in ride away condition with all parts checked and appear to be working properly. However as with all old and second second hand bikes, parts can be easily replaced or upgraded. Check through the photos carefully and read the description of the bike as it is sold as shown. Stand not included.

If the bike is being disassembled for freight please be aware there will be slight build marks in the paint left when parts are removed. Specifically around drop outs, handlebar at the stem and seat post clamp. These marks will cover up when rebuilt.

Pickup in Sydney
