This classic old mid school 20" Mongoose Motivator BMX has been rescued, cleaned, greased and serviced and is now ready to hit the street again with a new owner.

The 21 year old Mongoose has been completely stripped down, and rebuilt. Every part has been cleaned and greased where needed. All steel and chrome parts have had rust removed. The bike is almost completely original, with a few parts added where needed.

The frame, forks, handlebars, wheels, cranks, chainring and pedals are all original to the bike. The front and rear brakes, brake levers, drop nose seat, seat post, black gum wall comp 3 tyres and brake cables are all brand new. The wheels have been re-built with new spokes and spin straight and true considering their age, of course they're not absolutely perfect.

The bike has been finished off with a fresh new set of Mongoose Motivator decals.
Many of the original parts show signs of age and wear with small scratches and marks see photos. There are no bends, cracks or dents anywhere across the bike. The frame, forks, cranks and handlebars do have some light pitting in the chrome. The original Mongoose stamped pedals show wear and scratches. The head stem is a little faded and has a couple of scratches. A few of the small parts, bolts etc will have a small amount of rust on them. See photos.

The bike has 20" wheels and an average size top tube length. It is perfect for kids aged 6 to adult. The seat post can be raised for taller, older riders. 

The bike is in ride away condition with all parts checked and appear to be working properly. However as with all old and second second hand bikes, older used parts can be easily replaced. Check through the photos carefully and read the description of the bike as it is sold as shown. For local Sydney buyers the bike is able to be picked up from Willoughby on the weekend. 

For interstate buyers the bike will be boxed up for freight. Buyer pays full freight charge. Contact us for a quote. Typically a BMX bike will be around $55 to $75 to freight from Sydney to most metro areas in Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide. Will be slightly more for regional and a fair bit more for WA. Freight will include insurance, we don't ship without it.
