1980 Giant GMX 250 old-school complete BMX in Ex Condition

This classic old school 20" 1980 Giant GMX 250 BMX has been stripped, cleaned re-greased and rebuilt. Chrome frame and fork shine well, all rust removed and a new set of Giant GMX-250 decals.

Overall the bike is in Ex condition, features original Giant stamped power stem. Original forks, Giant seat clamp. Ex condition Fuan grips. Coaster brake Skyway tuffs. Stamped 3 Arrows Japan chainring. SR Tubular stamped cranks and old school rat trap MKS pedals. Tyres are new. The Viscount MX seat does have a small crack in the back (see photos).

Many of the parts show signs of age and wear with fading, small scratches and marks see photos. There are no bends, cracks or re-welds anywhere on the frame forks or bars. The frame has a small amount of pitting and a couple of small dents and scratches.

The bike has 20" wheels. It is perfect for kids aged around 7+ to adults. The seat post can be raised for taller, older riders.

The bike is in awesome ride away condition with all parts working properly. However as with all old and second second hand bikes, parts can be easily replaced or upgraded. Check through the photos carefully and read the description of the bike as it is sold as shown. 

Pickup in Sydney
For local Sydney buyers the bike is able to be picked up from Roseville on weekends by appointment. Payment on pick up not available. Contact for details.

Interstate Freight
For interstate buyers freight is your only option and is charged extra. We are happy to organise freight through e-go.com.au for you and box up the bike. To ensure you are happy with the freight charge, contact us for a quote before you purchase.

Typically a BMX bike will be around $65 to $85 to freight from Sydney to most metro areas in Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide. Will be slightly more for regional and a fair bit more for Perth and WA.

Freight will include insurance, we don't ship without it. A separate invoice will be sent for the freight total once quoted.

You can also organise your own freight and pay it separately, I will help with packing.
